In 1965,Prof. Zou graduated from Jilin University as a graduate student in solid state physics and was elected as an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. He is now a professor of State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials, Jilin University. He has been engaged in static high pressure physics and superhard materials for a long time.
