Abstract:
It is well known that hadrons are confined in low-temperature states, more precisely, low chemical potential circumstance. Lattice QCD simulations have delivered, for confining phase, that the potential between quark-antiquark, behaves Coulomic type in short distance while linear type in large separation. Historically, the linear confinement phenomena inspired the string theory. I will demonstrate this kind of potential in an analytic calculation by Einstein-Maxwell-scalar system, which is one of the most fundamental architecture in string theory, based on AdS/CFT correspondence. Therefore, the underlying physical picture can be a better understanding through the geometric framework, vise versa.
