Abstract: In this talk, I will give a brief introduction of some general concepts in tracking. Then I will introduce how those concepts are implemented in ACTS to achieve tracking features such as track fitting and track finding for HEP. Tracking performance of the software will be demonstrated using a prototype detector.

Brief Bio:

Dr. Ai got her PhD in Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Science in 2016, working on BESIII experiment. Then she moved to DESY as postdoc working at ATLAS experiment. Since March 2019, she is the postdoc at UC Berkeley working of tracking software development.
