"Komaba Shinichi,is the professor in Department of Applied Chemistry of Faculty of Science Division I,Tokyo University of Science.He was a junior associate professor in Tokyo University of Science from 2005 to 2008，then he was promoted to be the associate professor for the last 5 years.From 2013,He was promoted to be a professor in Tokyo University of Science and the project professor (ESICB Project) in Kyoto University.

Prof.Shinichi has published more than 147 papers in Nature Materials, Advanced Energy Materials,and many other peer reviewed journals.His research interest focuses on Functional materials/device and Inorganic industrial material in electrochemistry.He received many awards likes the German Innovation Award, Gottfried Wagner Prize 2015,the JSPS Prize in 2014,the 2014 RESONATE AWARD,the Poster Award of The 7th Asian Conference on Electrochemical PowerSource in 2013,and the Plaque of Appreciation from the Korean Institute of Electrical and Electronic Material Engineers in 2011.Prof.Shinichi was the IRSEC'2014 Conference Scientific Committee in 2014.And now he is in the editorial board of both the Scientific Report journal and the Electrochemistry Communications."
